In accordance with President Biden’s Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government, we are pleased to invite you to participate in a focus group discussion hosted by the Equity Team at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
OPM is conducting a focus group discussion with federal employees who identify as persons with disabilities to specifically seek your experiences and consultation around how you select a Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) healthcare plan and how you think about your retirement readiness. Your input will help inform our equity assessments in these areas, and help us improve these processes for federal employees.
We invite federal employees who identify as persons with disabilities who are currently enrolled in FEHB and have selected a health care plan in the last three years (either enrolled for the first time or switched their plan) or are considering switching their plan, and have retirement coverage under the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS).
We are seeking a focus group of 12 - 15 participants, so we will follow up with you to confirm your participation. OPM is arranging an ASL interpreter to join the focus group discussion and plans to offer closed captioning.
